• Greeting and Assisting Customers: welcoming customers as they enter the store, offering assistance, and directing them to specific products or departments. 
• Providing Product Information: knowledgeable about the products they sell, including features, pricing, and how to use or care for them. 
• Processing Transactions: operating cash registers or point-of-sale systems, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods, and providing accurate change. 
• Handling Returns and Exchanges: responsible for processing returns and exchanges according to the store’s policy. 
• Resolving Customer Issues: handling complaints, resolving disputes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
