Master’s Degree in Communication and Advertising (EN)
Master’s Degree in Communication and Advertising .
The Communication and Advertising master’s program offers a launching pad for students who want to pursue a career in advertising, public relations, marketing or media. All courses are taught in English, allowing students to benefit from direct access to cutting-edge academic literature, guest lecturers from partner universities and the improvement of professional communication skills in English. Through the interactive format of the courses, the master’s program encourages critical thinking and project-based learning. An important component of the courses is the initiation of applied research, through which, on the one hand, the theoretical concepts presented in the course are put into practice, and on the other hand, critical and methodological thinking is developed, essential not only for academic but also professional excellence.
Most of the candidates for this master’s degree have graduated from programs in communication and public relations, journalism, modern languages, economic studies, but also humanities (philosophy, history). The diverse profile of the candidates is a challenge that the master’s professors have overcome through a timely synthesis between the introductory and advanced levels.
Employment opportunities
Our graduates work mainly in public relations for various organizations (NGOs, specialized public relations firms, multinationals), in advertising, marketing and branding, in journalism, etc. Most of the students work in their field of specialization already during the master’s program.
Master’s profile
The Master’s combines a consistent, practice-oriented professional direction (through courses in advertising, marketing and branding, public relations) with a research direction that offers consistency and critical perspectives on the former (courses in communication theory, mass media, culture and communication, argumentation theory). Many of the Master’s professors are successful practitioners or are involved in international research projects.
