With the development of the mobile device market, the proliferation of various media formats and the increase in interconnection and access to information, there has also been a demand for specialists who can communicate strategically, efficiently, safely, correctly in these new media. In this context, the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations launched in the 2019-2020 academic year a new specialization, bachelor’s degree studies, part-time education: Communication and Emerging Media (with teaching in English)/Communication and Emerging Media.

The curriculum reflects trends in similar study programs offered by universities in the United States, Europe, and the country.

Specialty practice

The curriculum includes subjects with a pronounced applied nature (for example: Digital Media Technologies, Communication on Mobile Devices, Multimedia Production and Editing). These courses will be held in the laboratories of the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations (Informatics Laboratory, Multimedia Laboratory), equipped with state-of-the-art linear and digital audio-video equipment.

The Faculty of Communication and Public Relations constantly develops partnerships with public institutions and important companies from various professional fields, which offers students the opportunity to participate in relevant professional internships.

In 2017, the National School of Political and Administrative Studies entered into a partnership with the International Advertising Association (IAA), Romania, with the main objective of increasing the employability of our students. As part of this partnership, over 100 students from our faculty benefited from mentoring from some of the most important communication specialists. IAA member companies offer internship programs to students and encourage practitioners to participate in courses as guest lecturers.
